Seedlings Blooms get creative!

This week in Blooms we have been exploring clay, talking about the texture and making our own individual models.
Some of the children rolled the clay between the palms of their hands, others squeezed it down with the tips of their fingers or rolled it along the table.
The children then chose from a range of materials – sticks, leaves, buttons, straws, lollipop sticks, feathers and more, and then created their own model, talking about what they had made in detail to their friends.
Some of the models that were made were, a rainbow, a rabbit, a T-Rex, a hedgehog and a campfire!
The children used their imagination and creativity to create their wonderful models, they showed determination and stayed focused on their activity.
Blooms were proud of their achievements and welcomed praise given to them.
