To celebrate the end of the year and our oldest children moving on to their new schools, Pre-school children and staff at Alcester have enjoyed a visit from Zoolab, a small graduation celebration and a very exciting trip to Sandfield Farm in Evesham! Zoolab brought lots of interesting creepy crawlies to visit, including a giant millipede and a snake! The children all clapped and cheered their friends as they were called up individually to receive their Graduation certificates and their personalised hand-made keyrings at the Graduation ceremony. We welcomed Mums, Dads, a variety of relatives and friends to help the children celebrate and share some drinks and nibbles afterwards. Lots of fun was had on the farm trip, the children and staff explored the fields and met the animals, experimented with pond dipping – catching all sorts of different bugs and newts. After lunch, the afternoon was spent exploring the ‘Play Wood’, climbing trees, jumping in muddy puddles, swinging on tyre swings and mixing in the mud kitchen, amongst lots of other activities!
Good luck to all of the children starting their new adventures at their new schools in September!
