Outdoor adventure

Our vision is to provide spacious play environments that offers children an opportunity to develop curiosity and learning through engagement with nature, the seasons and the elements.

It has become a much used term but ours truly is a daily adventure in all of our settings. From unearthing bugs and identifying birds to digging holes and painting with mud – it’s all in a day’s play!

Learning does not mean staying indoors! We fully embrace free flow incorporating both stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments and are passionate about our Nature Classrooms we have created at our settings.

All children have easy access to outdoor play and learning opportunities at everyone of our settings. Children and staff enjoy the adventures outdoors, everyday, whatever the weather. We put as much time, thought, planning and resourcing into our outdoor areas as we do to those we provide indoors and it is always a deciding factor in any new setting that we look to develop. Different children prefer different spaces in which to play and learn, after all most activities indoors can be completed outdoors too!

Our vision is to provide spacious play environments that offer children an opportunity to develop curiosity and learning through engagement with nature, the seasons and the elements.

Outdoor learning is a huge part of what we do at each of our settings and our specially trained staff adapt the philosophy to suit our settings, practicing the ethos set out for forest school learning. Our Denim Club at Ragley offers a Forest School in its truest sense – set in the magnificent grounds of the Ragley estate where children can pond dip, make wigwams, camp fires…it is an adventure every day.
