Getting outside with Gingham Pre-School

‘The children at Gingham have recently been exploring their natural environment in many different ways. The children have planted their own sunflowers ready to grow, and have been watering and caring for the flowers, noticing how fast they are growing!

A dinosaur world was created indoors, the children appeared to enjoy making dens and houses for the dinosaurs as well as digging and making roads.

The children had a great time in Forest School at Bunting. They found lots of different insects including a centipede as well as a snail climbing a tree! The digging pit was very popular, the children used their tools to dig and found lots of wiggly worms. The children explored the water play, using their problem solving skills to work out which pipe the water would come out of, they used this water to add to their creations in the muddy kitchen, making pies and cakes for everyone.’
